DRISHTIKON

Drishtikon was the idea to provide an eye check up for the underprivileged children of age 6-16 years old. An idea that was implemented by our club with all our heart and soul, for which, the love we have received from the children of the Calcutta Social Project is beyond measurable.

HER OWN HERO

Taking a brilliant initiative forward, Leo Club of Kolkata Greater joined hands with Leo club of Kolkata Sanchetna to organise an open-to-all self defense workshop for women guided by Sensei Imtiaz Ansari and team. 70 women of the age group 16-25 participated in the workshop and learnt various self-defense techniques.

PLAY ON 5.0

An Intra-District Indoor Games League organised on the 15th of September at Burra Bazaar Yuvak Sabha was hosted by Calcutta New Alipore, Calcutta Park Avenue, Kolkata Greater, Kolkata Nav Vikas and Kolkata Paradise. 125 Leos were present and participated in the various activities organised.

CHAZE DONT LAZE

To light up our dull quarantine days, Leo Club of Kolkata Greater & Leo Club of Midtown Glory hosted an online inter-club quiz competition. The event comprised of a quiz consisting 10 rounds on an extended variety of non-cliche topics and including an exciting Online Treasurer Hunt!

OLD-AGE HOME VISIT

Leo club of Kolkata Greater visited the Little Sisters of the Poor, an old age home. There were around 80 people aged 60+ with whom we had an interactive session involving games, hand exercises and singing.

A 7 day campaign aimed to raising awareness about Menstrual Health and Period Poverty.

The club raised Rs. 14,000+ from donations that were utilized to distribute sanitary pads in the remote villages near Kolkata. They hosted Instagram live conversations and interactions with multiple personalities. The reach of the 7 day campaign in total crossed 2000 people.
